Free flu shots offered at Welcome Back Parent Fair
Walgreens, the United Way of Southern Cameron County and FamilyWize have teamed up to provide free flu shots to uninsured and underinsured persons at the Brownsville Independent School District’s annual Welcome Back Parent Fair.
The fair is from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the BrownsvilleEventsCenter on Paredes Line Road. It is intended to welcome parents back for the 2015-2016 school year and inform them about BISD programs and community services. The local United Way will be among about 70 community organizations and BISD departments participating, officials said.
