United Way-backed RX card produces savings
A prescription medication savings card by FamilyWize has helped local residents save over $540,000 on prescription costs, the United Way of Greater Niagara announced.
FamilyWize, a longtime partner of United Way, works with nearly 1,000 United Ways in the United States to offer the FamilyWize Prescription Savings Card, which conveys average savings of 42 percent on FDA-approved prescription medications. The card is free, it is usable by insured and uninsured residents, and does not require the user to give out any personal information or meet eligibility criteria.
